Bedrock 10 - “Past Present Future” - Bedrock Records

With Bedrock’s tenth anniversary already upon us, John Digweed has decided to take us on a music journey of where his label has been, where it’s at and where it’s going. It features a few of the classics we love as well as a few with some new updated twists to keep you on the edge of your seat. If you know anything about this label, it’s that they pride themselves on quality. I mean it’s really hard to go wrong with a compilation that includes tracks such as Jim Rivers - Empathy, Moonface - U Get So Give and of course Bedrock - Heaven Scent. It's a smooth blend of progressive treats. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us for the next 10 years.

Delicious & Abigail Bailey - “Live and Direct” - CR2 Records

With 2008 coming to a close, CR2 gives us their last compilation of the year spotlighting 3 of the hottest girls in the scene and no, I’m not talking about the album cover. Disc 1 is mixed by Danish house duo, Delicious. Denise and Karina are not only DJ’s but also run their own label, Lekker Records and have emassed quite a few production credits along the way. Disc 2 is mixed by Abigail Bailey. She wasn’t content on simply DJing either and has been the featured vocalist of records like Herd & Fitz – I Just Can’t Get Enough. Together, they have even done a special track for the CD called Bounce. Overall, both discs are packed with slammin’ tracks from Mark Mendes, Adam Shaw as well as Smith & Selway that will keep you rockin’ into the wee hours of the morning.
